Emily Forbes is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with nearly 15 years of advanced practice experience and more than 20 years dedicated to patient care. Her clinical background spans Women’s Health< Internal Medicine, Long Term Care, Wound Care, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Urgent Care, Cardiology, and Infectious Disease.
In addition to her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, giving her a strong understanding of both the clinical and operational sides of healthcare. This blend of administrative insight and bedside experience enables her to deliver compassionate, evidence-based and patient-oriented care.
Over the years, Emily has seen the growing challenges of rising healthcare costs and limited access to quality care issues that became even more evident during the COVID-19 pandemic. She recognizes telehealth as a crucial solution to bridge these gaps, offering timely and affordable care when patients need it most. This passion led her co-found EZ Care, continuing her mission to make high-quality, accessible healthcare available to all.

Originally from Wisconsin, Emily has been married to her husband, Jake, for 17 years. Together, they have followed his military career across the country and now call Texas home. where they are raising their three energetic boys, Hayden, Nolen and Lincoln. Outside of her professional life, Emily enjoys, traveling, tending to her flock of chickens, cheering on her sons on their various activities, and has recently discovered passion for gardening.
